"Gosh, its over," I thought as I sat alone in a pitch-dark freezing room that I call my bedroom. Abandoned in one corner was my laundry. Piling high over the white tiles, the only thing that could rival its collection of dust was, and remains to be my book cabinet on the other end of my room. Looking at my laptop, it tells me that dawn has barely arrived and my fat head should be in bed. Instead, I get up, furious at my constant habit of procrastinating.
A quick search through the cabinet leads me to a familiar thing. My class photo. Gone are the days of waking at the same time that StarWorld showed The Simpsons every weekday to drag heavy feet down two blocks to a bus stop where aunties would push me onto a crowded cold and damp 963 on the way to school where my cold frail bones would feel warmth in the class I call HOME.
